Spring has Sprung! Families join Miss Anne on Saturday, April 25th at 10:30am as she celebrates Spring and all the colorful surprises it brings. The fun includes stories, games, and a sweet treat.

Effects of Budget Cuts & Community Use of Library

Budget Cuts:  Feeling the effects!  Current library funding dropped 24% ($134,000) overall since 2012 -- 15% ($78,000) cut in 2015. But your Ontario residential tax for the Library was not reduced. 

Current budget for circulating materials down 31% or $27,500.  Programming funding is down 84% to only $1200!

Community Values the Library:  Usage up! Attendance at 2014 programs grew over 2013 by more than 27%.

Automated Doors: Open Sesame

  Library Trustees and staff are pleased that all visitors can at last enter and exit the Library with ease.  Last summer our Trustees voted to pay for replacement ADA automated doors after exhausting other options to repair the existing doors.  Bids were requested and Moss Architectural Products was scheduled to install them soon after the doors were received.  Work began

2015 Library Hours Cut!

After 100 years of highly successful and growing services in the community, effective the first Saturday in 2015, January 3rd, we sadly announce library hours are cut to:

  • Saturday 10:00AM -- 1:00PM
  • Monday through Wednesday 10:00AM -- 8:00PM 
  • Thursday and Friday 10:00AM -- 6:00 PM
  • The Library will close all Saturdays between Memorial Day and Labor Day
