Your Ontario/OWWL Library Card
Ontario Public Library cards are available by applying at the Circulation Desk during regular hours of operation. Requests for new accounts during the last hour of operation may not be processed until the next business day.

Teens and adults are required to provide identification with a current address. Current telephone and email information is required at the time of application. NY Confidentiality Law prohibits us from disclosing private information about registered users to anyone without a legal cause.
Parents or legal guardians are required sign an application on behalf of their children.
Responsibilities and privledges associated with the OPL/OWWL card are provided with the card.
Circulating Collections
The library collection has over 50,000 items which include books, magazines, bookc on cassettes and CDs, music CDs, videotapes and DVDs.
The Teen Corner holds a collection of books, audiobooks, magazines, and electronic games specially purchased in their interest and at their request. Tweens often frequent the area too, as there is crossover in materials for those aged 10 through 12 based on personal interest and reading level.
The Kid's collection includes resources in many formats targeted for early literacy from board books through chapter books. A circulating reference collection is also available in the Kid's area.
OWWL System Delivery
Pioneer Library System coordinates system wide delivery of materials to all 42 member libraries in Ontario, Wayne, Wyoming and Livingston Counties. This service is run six days a week bringing patron holds to the library on a daily basis.
Interlibrary Loan
When looking for a title not in OWWL, if you are an Ontario Public Library cardholder, we will try to borrow it from another library for you. There is a $5 charge per item for this service.
Homebound Service
Borrowers confined to home because of disability may request staff to select books. Library personnel will deliver and pickup materials at pre-arranged times.
Sick Kid Kits can be prepared to meet the special interests and needs of children and parents.
Bookdrop
You may return materials at the bookdrop even when the library is closed. The bookdrop is near the southwest entrance to the building.
